2013 NBA Championship Futures

The Miami Heat have their championship, so now the big question is whether LeBron James and co. can repeat and strong together a series of multiple titles.

The oddsmakers at Bodog.ca seem to think they can. The NBA Finals may have just ended but they already have 2013 NBA Championship futures posted at Bodog.ca with the Heat on top as an 11/4 favorite.

The Heat are built around their Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh and all three will be back in the hunt for another title next season. There's also rumblings that the Heat could upgrade their supporting cast by going after a free agent like Steve Nash. If that happens the odds on the Heat repeating could get even better.

The runners up in the NBA this season were the Oklahoma City Thunder and they currently follow the Heat on the Bodog.ca NBA futures at 5/1. The Thunder put together an impressive run in the postseason and the one thing to remember is that they boasted one of the youngest starting lineups in NBA Finals history. With another season under their belts Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Thunder's young stars could be even better next season.

The biggest Wild Card in the NBA next year could be the Chicago Bulls. At Bodog.ca the Bulls are currently third on the odds list at 6/1. Do they deserve such good odds with Derrick Rose set to start the season on the shelf with a knee injury. There is no real timetable for Rose's return so the Bulls odds could change quickly, especially if they come out slow when the new season does begin.

The way they odds looks right now could change pretty quickly in a few weeks when teams start signing free agents. Just a few notable names available include Deron Rose, Nash, Ray Allen, Gerald Wallace, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan and Roy Hibbert. There's also Dwight Howard, who could be traded at any time. If a team like the Lakers were to sign a big name their odds could jump quickly from where they currently stand at 10/1.
